The recycling companies of the Max Aicher Foundation cover both sides of the production chain. Some companies act as raw material suppliers for other companies in the group; others close the production chain, among other things through the recovery or recycling of residues, and represent the beginning of a further production chain. This will counteract the growing global demand for raw materials.

Natural resources can be conserved and the destruction of natural landscapes through the extraction of raw materials can be prevented.

Max Aicher Recycling

Max Aicher Recycling GmbH operates several scrap yards in Franconia, Swabia and the Upper Palatinate. In numerous processing plants, metal waste is processed as raw materials for recycling and return to the economic cycle.

Europe-wide Recycling companies

UD Stahl, Aicher Beton and Koalfem, three companies in Hungary are engaged in the collection and processing of scrap metals.

In Slovakia, these tasks are carried out by Max Aicher Recycling Slowensko and in the Czech Republic by Sunex.

They supply the Ózd steel mills with scrap metal as a raw material.

Max Aicher Umwelt

Max Aicher Umwelt GmbH specialises in the recycling of mineral-inorganic residues as well as the processing and recycling of slag from steel mill production, which can be used as fertiliser lime or in road construction – all in the spirit of sustainable management.

Maxhütte Technology

Maxhütte Technology is our leading company in the field of plant engineering, electrical engineering and IT service. The vocational training centre in the Maxhütte is known far beyond the city limits of Sulzbach-Rosenberg and is also used by many external companies.

Max Aicher Bischofswerda is a steel construction company in Saxony that manufactures individually manufactured special constructions and is also active in the areas of waste logistics, flood protection and oxygen systems.
